Wendi Fornoff is a web developer with a particular interest in making the web user-friendly and accessible. She has work experience as a web accessibility consultant for ProQuest, Yankee Ingenuity, and Thomson Gale, and as a web designer and administrator for the University of Michigan's Institute for Social Research.
Before entering the technological sphere, Wendi provided psychotherapy to people diagnosed with severe mental illness. Many of these clients were on heavy medications that made fine motor skills, such as those required to handle a computer mouse, difficult. It was then that Wendi first became interested in usable, accessible web design.
